Real Madrid will need to make additions in their forward areas over the coming transfer windows. Karim Benzema might be the reigning Ballon d’Or winner but he is set to turn 35 years of age soon and has struggled to remain fit this season. On the other hand, Mariano Diaz has not made an impact at the club and is expected leave next summer. In terms of the wings, the futures of Marco Asensio and Eden Hazard are up in the air.

Thus, it would not be a shock if Real Madrid tried to recruit players in those areas soon. They were already linked with Christopher Nkunku recently, although it feels like Chelsea is his most likely destination.

Real Madrid might have an eye on a Premier League superstar though, as it appears that Son Heung-Min’s long term future might not lie at Tottenham Hotspur.

Son has been one of the best players in the Premier League in recent years but it is pretty clear that he has never been able to compete for silverware during his time at Tottenham Hotspur. And now, at 30 years of age, he might be looking for a change of scenery and Real Madrid could potentially be a destination for him.

Real Madrid linked with possible move for Tottenham Hotspur superstar

As reported by SPORT1, Son is preparing for his next career step despite the contract until 2025.  Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has therefore also kept an eye on him.

Son has been an incredibly consistent performer for Tottenham Hotspur since joining the club in 2015, but this time around, he seems to be struggling a bit.

Son is definitely a good enough player for Real Madrid. The only problem with him though would be the fact that he is 30 years of age and with almost three years left on his contract, Tottenham Hotspur would look for a significant transfer fee to let him go.
