Real Madrid have a fantastic core of young players in their current squad, who can go on to be first-team regulars for the next decade to come. Very important for the club though is to make sure that they remain at Santiago Bernabeu and are not lured away by the glitz and the glamour of the Premier League, or other giants around Europe.

Real Madrid seem to be doing a great job at that though. Rumours have already broken out that Vinicius Jr has signed a long-term extension with Los Blancos, even though it has not been officially announced yet. And he does not seem to be the only one.

As reported by AS, the club also rewarded Eder Militao and Rodrygo by handing the Brazilian duo new deals at the beginning of July. They have both penned agreements running until 2028.

There has been further good news surrounding Militao and Rodrygo recently as well, as they have been given Spanish citizenship and are no longer taking two of the three non-EU spots in Real Madrid’s squad.

Thus, it looks like Vinicius, Militao and Rodrygo have all signed long-term extensions with Real Madrid, although none of those deals have been officially announced.

The club might be waiting for the perfect moment to do that, when perhaps the results are not going so well and the morale is down, in order to lift the mood of the fans.

It is safe to say that both Militao and Rodrygo played key roles in Real Madrid’s La Liga and Champions League triumphs last season, and have gone on to establish themselves as important members of the squad, despite facing some early struggles at Santiago Bernabeu. They have certainly earned their new deals.
