Real Madrid have a number of world-class players in their squad, who have nailed down their spots in the starting XI. That also means though that there are several good players as well, who do not get a chance to prove themselves in the first-team. Some remain sitting on the bench while others are sent out on loan. Brahim Diaz is someone who is making the most of his spell away from Santiago Bernabeu.

Brahim is currently away on loan at AC Milan, who are believed to have an option to buy included in the deal, which one would expect them to take up after the form that the Real Madrid player is in.

On the other hand, Real Madrid have a slightly higher buyback clause, which they could very well activate if the situation calls for it. But Manchester United could prove to be a roadblock in this regard.

As reported by El Nacional, Erik Ten Hag has become ‘obsessed’ with Brahim, and hopes to convince him to come to Old Trafford and rule out a potential return to Santiago Bernabeu.

For Manchester United to sign Brahim, it would take them to negotiate a fee and it could take as much as a transfer fee around €55 million to sign him.

It must be pointed out that Brahim has been one of the shining lights for AC Milan in recent times, even though he might have never managed to make his mark at Real Madrid. Also at 23 years of age, one would expect him to get better moving forward.

On top of everything else, Brahim also has experience of the English game already, having been a part of the Manchester City youth setup, before his move to Real Madrid some years back.
