CM – Luka Modric

Every game, the Croatian maestro adds to his legacy and shines it even brighter. He was the captain for the game, and he was just as important as any other goal scorer or defender on the field. His presence and prowess on the ball with all of his skill sets contributed to the difference from the center of the field, putting Celtic in unbreakable trouble. This level of consistency at this age is truly astounding.

Rating: 8.0

DM – Toni Kroos

The German sniper’s future may be clouded by doubt, but his performances are not. Every game he proves that Real Madrid must go above and beyond to keep him for another few years. The trident with Modric and Valverde took great shape, and the two players could only be more creative because Kroos coated for them in the back. A traditional flawless game.

Rating: 7.5

CM – Fede Valverde

This man is a cheat-code. It’s absolutely remarkable how he does it every game! The fluidity of the match appeared to have improved with a new starting lineup and the return of Valverde to the squad. He made an immediate change in terms of reviving the dynamism and pace of the game, which had been noticeably lacking in recent games, as evidenced by the assist and weekly banger he scored. Simply amazing. He’ll take it all!

LW – Vinicius Jr

Vini lost a lot of opportunities that he could have easily taken, but that in no way justifies the criticism he is currently receiving. In the end, he scored a spectacular goal and remains Real Madrid’s leading scorer this season.

If you’ll observe, Vini has always been that player who presents a high risk but offers a similar-sized reward. Fans should relax because it is only a patch. He’ll be fine. Patience is essential.

Rating: 7.5

ST – Rodrygo

Rodrygo was decent. He started the season good and is trying to maintain the momentum well. Against Celtic, he was present and linked up well with Rodrygo and the midfielders and was successful and posing some tangible threats ahead of Hart. Though he couldn’t make the scoresheet, his game was OK.

Rating: 6.0

RW – Marco Asensio

Asensio finally started after what seemed like an eternity and easily imposed his presence. He looked sharp from the start, making some clever eagle-eyed passes and one-twos with his teammates before eventually scoring his much-needed goal in the second half. Asensio was much more attack-oriented rather than overly cautious, for which he is frequently chastised. A fantastic performance after such a long time will undoubtedly boost his confidence and strengthen his case for the much-needed renewal. Onward and upward.
