Real Madrid are always on the lookout for the next big star in football and one player that they have been linked with in recent times is Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The Georgian signed with Napoli in the summer from little known Dinamo Batumi and has taken Italian and European football by absolute storm.

He is playing like one of the best wingers on the planet already. According to stats from Transfermarkt, Kvaratskhelia has scored 8 goals and provided 10 assists in 17 appearances so far for Napoli.

Those are exceptional numbers, especially for someone who is playing at this level for the first time in his career and has looked like he belongs from the very first minute. At just 21 years of age, he is only expected to get better moving forward.

Thus, it is not hard to see why Real Madrid might be interested in him, and their hopes of potentially signing Kvaratskhelia one day have been handed a massive boost, as it looks like he is a big fan of Los Blancos. As reported by Marca, statements before signing for Napoli have come to light, when the Georgian had said:

"“My biggest dream is to win the Champions League with Real Madrid. I’ve been a Real Madrid fan since I was a child. With my brothers, we were always watching their games.”"

Real Madrid handed major boost in their hopes of signing Kvaratskhelia from Napoli

Kvaratskhelia arrived at Napoli only in the summer and he has already earned himself the nickname ‘Kvaradona’, a nod to club and footballing legend, Diego Maradona.

Thus, one does not need to say much more when it comes to the kind of impact that he has made and how Kvaratskhelia has won the hearts of the Napoli fans in a short amount of time.

Now, it remains to be seen if Real Madrid try to sign him in the future or not. It goes without saying that someone like Kvaratskhelia could be a brilliant signing for Los Blancos but Napoli are a notoriously difficult club to do transfer business with, and are not expected to be keen on letting their starboy leave anytime soon.
