Real Madrid want to sign Endrick. That is pretty much an open secret by now. If there were any doubts if the Brazilian could do it in the senior game, those questions have been answered already, as he has made a blistering start for Palmeiras.

According to stats from Transfermarkt, Endrick has scored 3 goals and provided an assist in 5 appearances for Palmeiras, which have combined for 180 minutes of football in total. He is just 16 years of age.

Thus, it should come as no surprise that Real Madrid are not the only team looking to sign Endrick. European giants like PSG, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, Barcelona and several others have also been linked with a potential move in the near future. But it looks like Los Blancos have taken a major step in the direction of the Brazilian wonderkid.

As reported by Marca, a leader of Real Madrid is in Sao Paulo and is starting negotiations with the Brazilian club in a first attempt to close an agreement for the transfer of Endrick.

Real Madrid have taken major step in negotiations to sign Endrick for Palmeiras

It is pretty clear that Endrick is one of the most exciting young talents in Europe and Real Madrid cannot hang around for too long, as there is a risk that some other club would swoop in ahead of them.

It must be pointed out that Real Madrid have a terrific record when it comes to developing young South American talents. Vinicius Junior and Federico Valverde are great examples, as they have developed into superstars in Spain while Rodrygo is enjoying his breakout campaign as well, and could be on the verge of nailing down his spot in the starting XI.

Incidentally, Endrick imitated Real Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo’s celebration after scoring in a recent game. Make of that what you will.
