Palmeiras set asking price for Real Madrid target Endrick

There was a lot of hype surrounding Endrick, so much so that clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona, PSG, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal and several others had been linked with him even before he had made his first-team debut for Palmeiras. There were some question marks though whether the Brazilian wonderkid would be able to produce the goods at the senior level. We have found the answer to that question.

Despite being just 16 years of age, Endrick is already affecting games for Palmeiras. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 3 goals and provided an assist in 5 appearances till now.

Those performances will have done nothing but to raise the hopes of clubs who were already keeping a close eye on the Brazilian youngster.

Of course, it is safe to say that it will not be simple to sign him. And as reported by Relevo, Palmeiras would contemplate an offer of €45 million, which would be accompanied by a number of performance-related bonuses that would take that figure closer to €60 million.

Considering the modern day transfer market, and the start that Endrick has made in senior football, that is not an unfair expectation on the part of Palmeiras. In fact, it is very similar to the figures that Real Madrid shelled out to sign Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo in the past, and it is safe to say that those moves paid off for them.

Let’s see if Real Madrid end up winning the race to sign Endrick as well, with the competition tough for his signature.

Rumours have suggested though that Endrick is open to the move and Real Madrid’s recent record of developing highly-rated Brazilian youngsters into first-team players at the Santiago Bernabeu might help them win the race.
