Real Madrid have been linked with several players in recent times, who the club are rumoured to be preparing a move for in the near future. But it looks like one of Los Blancos’ loanees will return to the club in the summer and could almost be like a new signing, after his brilliant spell in the Serie A.
The player is none other than Brahim Diaz, who has been on loan at AC Milan for the past few seasons and it looks like he has developed into quite the player.
There has been some confusion about whether he would return to Real Madrid or complete a permanent move to AC Milan, where he is starting to make his presence felt more and more, even though he is not a regular starter yet.
But it looks like his next move is clear, and that is coming back to the Santiago Bernabeu. As reported by AS, Brahim will return to Real Madrid in July.
Brahim looks set to return to Real Madrid at the end of this season
One would not expect Brahim to come in and establish himself as a regular starter for Real Madrid straight off the bat. The Spaniard’s versatility could make him a very important part of this squad though.
Brahim is at his best when he plays in the number 10 role. But he is also capable of playing on both wings if the situation calls for it, and has even played up top on occasion.
According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 4 goals and provided an assist in 14 appearances for AC Milan this season, while playing 613 minutes of football in total.
That is a solid output for someone who is still just 23 years of age. Thus, he can be a role player for Real Madrid, with the futures of the likes of Eden Hazard and Marco Asensio up in the air.
