Liverpool and Real Madrid have come up against each other on the pitch in recent times. The latest one being the Champions League final, which was decided by Vinicius Junior’s goal, as Jurgen Klopp’s side tasted defeat against Los Blancos in European football’s biggest game for the second time. Now though, the two clubs could be vying for one of the brightest talents in Spanish football in the transfer market.

The player in question is Alberto Moleiro. Still just 19 years of age, he plays for second division side, Las Palmas, at the moment, but that has not stopped him from being linked with some of the biggest clubs in Europe already.

As reported by AS, Liverpool have very good reports of Moleiro and he is to the liking of Jurgen Klopp himself. Barcelona and Real Madrid have been linked with the youngster since last summer, while Borussia Dortmund are keeping an eye as well. Thus, he could very well be one of the protagonists of the next winter transfer window.

It is believed that he has a €30 million release clause in his current deal with Las Palmas but that will become double, if they end up getting promoted to La Liga, which is very much possible as the Segunda division side are in the mix for promotion this time around.

Moleiro is without doubt one of the most highly-rated talents in Spain right now, which is clear from the magnitude of the teams being linked with him. Thus, any club who wins the race for his signature would have pulled off a major coup on the surface of it.

According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has made 13 appearances this season for Las Palmas and played 721 minutes of football, providing 3 assists in the process of doing so.

Let’s see where Moleiro heads next. It is safe to say that the youngster has no lack of world-class options.
