Real Madrid will need to sign a striker or two in the very near future. We have seen Karim Benzema struggling with injury problems this season and the Ballon d’Or winner has spent a lot of time sitting on the sidelines as a result. The fact that Los Blancos do not have an out-and-out replacement for him has not helped matters, with Mariano Diaz pretty much completely out of Carlo Ancelotti’s plans.

As a result, they have had to rely on Rodrygo to play up front, despite the fact that he is a natural winger. And while the strategy has worked, Real Madrid would look even better with a proper number nine leading the line.

While Benzema is still a top player, he is set to turn 35 years of age soon. Real Madrid have been linked with Endrick heavily, who could be the club’s striker of the future. But there is another teenager who is progressing impressively and the club should keep their eyes on. It is none other than Youssoufa Moukoko of Borussia Dortmund.

According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 6 goals and provided 4 assists in 12 Bundesliga appearances and 586 minutes of action this season. That means that the 17-year-old is averaging a goal contribution every 58.6 minutes in the Bundesliga in this campaign!

Real Madrid should keep their eyes on brilliant German striker

Similar to Endrick, Moukoko had been a standout at the youth level as well, for both club and country.

Curiously, there does not seem to be as much hype around as one would expect, considering how well the 17-year-old is doing in the Bundesliga.

Unlike Endrick, Moukoko has already shown that he can do it at a top level. While we do not want to compare the two, the German striker must be another one that Real Madrid should try to sign, especially if they fail in the pursuit of the Brazilian wonderkid.
