Real Madrid have been home to some of the greatest football players in the history of the game over the years. Two of the greatest among those have been incidentally namesakes: Cristiano Ronaldo and Ronaldo Nazario. They are two of the best pure goalscorers that the game has ever seen.

Of course, we all know about the exploits of Cristiano in a Real Madrid jersey. He reached heights at the club that not many, if any, have before him.

On the other hand, the Brazilian is considered by many as the greatest natural talent in the history of football but a career filled with injuries meant that he could never really fulfil his true potential. Even then, he went on to become one of the best ever, so that shows how great he truly was.

Real Madrid have been linked with Brazilian sensation, Endrick, in recent times, and it looks like the teenager idolises both of them. As reported by Marca, he said about his idols while speaking to So Foot:

"“I would say that Ronaldo el Fenomeno and Cristiano Ronaldo, are players that have qualities that I identify with, I’ve seen them play a lot. I like the speed, the power, how they go through defenses and then their winning attitude. What I try to get out of them is their composure in the box, using that to score even more goals.”"

It is safe to say that for a striker, those are two of the greatest examples that one could possibly follow in the game of football.

Endrick is starting to make his own mark at the senior level as well, already breaking some records for Palmeiras. The future looks very bright for the Brazilian wonderkid.

It will not be easy for Real Madrid to win the race for his signature though, as it is believed that both PSG and Chelsea are ready to meet the €60 million release clause in his current deal with Palmeiras.

It is hard to see Real Madrid matching that kind of a figure. But there is still some way to go in the transfer race to sign Endrick and let’s see if Los Blancos can pull another rabbit out of their magic hat.
