Real Madrid have quite a few players on their squad whose current deals are running out at the end of this season. Unless the club end up renewing these deals soon, Carlo Ancelotti’s squad could look very different come next season. Not only could Los Blancos end up losing quality, but a lot of experience on top of that as well.
One player who has been out of the first-team picture this season is Nacho Fernandez. Antonio Rudiger’s arrival in the summer, on a free transfer, has meant that the long-time Real Madrid star has fallen further down the pecking order at the club.
On top of that, his current deal is running out at the end of this season, which means that there is a lot of uncertainty around the future of Nacho. There would not be any lack of interest if he did end up leaving the club though.
As reported by AS, Nacho has received interest from teams in the MLS over a possible move in the coming winter transfer window. David Beckham would like to see him play for his Inter Miami side. But he does not want to leave his boyhood club and his intention is to speak with Real Madrid over a contract renewal.
Beckham’s Inter Miami are interested in Nacho but he does not want to leave Real Madrid
Nacho has been a ‘one club man’ and never played for any other team through the course of his career, having come through the Real Madrid system.
Thus, it is not hard to understand why the Spaniard might not want to leave. At the same time though, there have been conflicting rumours doing the rounds as well, which have suggested that Nacho is considering his future at the club.
Let’s see how things turn out. Nacho is currently the fourth-choice centre-back at the club but he is still a reliable option to have, who knows Real Madrid like the back of his hand.
