Real Madrid have been heavily linked with a move for Jude Bellingham. The Borussia Dortmund midfielder is a man in demand though and has also been linked with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool. Thus, it goes without saying that the race for his signature will be very tough for Los Blancos.
It is hard to believe that Bellingham is just 19 years of age. He has been one of the best players in the Bundesliga for quite some time now, proven himself constantly at the Champions League level as well and could star for England at the World Cup.
Unsurprisingly, he is not expected to remain at Borussia Dortmund much longer, who could look for a transfer fee as high as €150 million in order to let Bellingham go.
As reported by SPORT, in England, the feeling is that Bellingham will end up at Liverpool. Real Madrid do not believe that though and they trust that it is the player who decides where he wants to end up. But it is clear that Los Blancos will not reach the €150 million figure for the Borussia Dortmund superstar.
Real Madrid not willing to shell out €150 million transfer fee to sign Bellingham
It remains to be seen what kind of a fee the transfer of Bellingham ends up fetching Borussia Dortmund but will surely be upwards of €100 million. Real Madrid are expected to be more comfortable paying around that mark.
Bellingham is expected to be one of the best players in the world for more than a decade to come and it is not hard to see why he is so highly rated.
There have been conflicting rumours about where he wants to play his football after leaving Dortmund and thus, the only thing we can do is wait and see.
