Real Madrid have been heavily linked with Jude Bellingham in recent times. The English midfielder has been one of the best in the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund and also proven himself at the Champions League level. He is also showing what he is capable of at the World Cup with the England national team.

Thus, it is not hard to see why Real Madrid might be interested. They have one of the best midfield departments in the world but rumours have suggested that Toni Kroos is considering hanging up his boots at the end of the season.

On the other hand, at 37 years of age, Luka Modric has to be in the twilight of his career. And Dani Ceballos could be on his way out soon, with his contract running out next summer.

So, bringing in someone like Bellingham would be a major coup for Real Madrid. But they face heavy competition from the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City. And it looks like they could be ready to include one of their youngsters as part of a deal for the Borussia Dortmund superstar.

As reported by El Nacional, if Eduardo Camavinga can help lower the transfer fee required to sign Bellingham, Real Madrid would include him as part of the deal without a second thought.

Camavinga played a key role in Real Madrid’s Champions League triumph last season but has not been able to make the progress that was expected of him in this campaign, and has been a bit-part player at best.

Thus, if including Camavinga as part of the deal for Bellingham could help Real Madrid, then it is not hard to see them being tempted by the prospect of letting him leave in favour of the Englishman. Let’s see what the future holds.
