Real Madrid are expected to have their eyes on the World Cup. Over the years, the club have used the tournament to scout talent and sign some of their best players till date. The fans will be hoping that that continues moving forward as well, especially now, as Los Blancos could do with more depth to their squad if they are to compete in three competitions in the second half of the season.

One of the stars to have emerged in the group stages is Mohammed Kudus of Ghana, who scored twice against South Korea, to power his nation to a remarkable 3-2 win in a thrilling game of football.

It is not just Ghana he has been in top form for though, as Kudus has been putting up impressive numbers for Ajax at both the Eredivisie and Champions League level this season.

According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 10 goals and provided 2 assists in 21 appearances for Ajax this season.

Real Madrid reportedly keen on World Cup sensation

As reported by Football Ghana, Real Madrid has been following Kudus keenly and could make a move for the player.

Kudus is just 22 years of age and as a result, it looks like he has a very bright future ahead of him. One would expect him to get even better moving forward although his numbers right now are already very impressive for an attacking midfielder.

Are Real Madrid actually going to make a move for Kudus in the future? Only time shall tell. But considering the fact that he is just 22, plays for Ajax, has a contract till the summer of 2025 and is impressing at the World Cup, it could prove to be an expensive operation if undertaken.

The youngster is certainly one worth keeping an eye on though. Let’s see if he continues to deliver the goods for Ghana at the World Cup, who have a chance to make it through to the last 16.
