Real Madrid are a club who have a great history and have one trophy after another over the years. No player in history has won more titles while wearing the Royal White jersey than Marcelo though, who has 25 honours to his name from his time at Santiago Bernabeu, quite the haul to say the least.
Marcelo had arrived at the club as a teenager back in 2007 from Fluminense. It was just this summer that he left, after spending more than a decade-and-a-half, and being a key part of one of the most successful periods in the history of Los Blancos.
Marcelo is without doubt one of the best left-backs ever, and now, it is his son, who is looking to follow in his footsteps at Santiago Bernabeu.
As tweeted out by Fabrizio Romano, Marcelo’s son Enzo Alves has signed his first Real Madrid contract.

Enzo is still just 13 years of age and he is believed to have been standing out at Real Madrid’s academy. While Marcelo might have made his name playing as a left-back, although he had the flair and technique of an attacking player, his son is a striker.
Of course, this is very early and it is very possible that Enzo’s position could change as he goes up through the youth ranks.
Enzo has earned a lot of plaudits already and was even called up to Real Madrid’s under-14 team recently. Thus, signing a contract with the club is the right step for him now and hopefully, he will take his game to the next level moving forward.
On the other hand, Marcelo left Real Madrid in the summer and joined Olympiacos. He has had a tough time there though, questions have been raised about his fitness and there have been rumours that the Greek side are looking to terminate his contract.
