Real Madrid have been linked with some of the most exciting names in world football in recent times as it looks like they are preparing for a big summer transfer window, after being relatively quiet over the past few years. At the same time though, they are facing competition from some of the biggest teams in Europe to get deals over the line.

Jude Bellingham is believed to be a priority for Real Madrid next summer. The Borussia Dortmund youngster has been in stunning form for the German club this season. And he has taken this World Cup to show what he is capable of as well, and has arguably been England’s best player at the tournament. It is hard to believe he is still just 19 years of age!

Thus, signing someone like Bellingham would be considered as a major coup for almost every club in the world.

As reported by Sport Witness, on Cadena Ser show Carrusel Mundial, journalist Pacojo Delgado revealed that the first talks to sign Bellingham were for a €80 million transfer fee. Now Real Madrid believe that Borussia Dortmund won’t let him go for less than €120 million and it’s believed that Chelsea could reach as much as €150 million to land him.

Chelsea could be willing to pay huge transfer fee to sign Real Madrid target

Chelsea have had a change in ownership recently but things have not gone their way this season, as they were struggling badly before the World Cup break.

The ownership made the controversial decision of sacking Thomas Tuchel and replacing him with Graham Potter, something that has not gone down well with a large portion of the Chelsea fanbase and the results on the pitch have only increased the dissatisfaction.

As a result, it is very possible that Chelsea could go all out next summer in hopes of turning things around and signing someone like Bellingham would be a statement move. That is not great news for Real Madrid though.
