PSG president confirms they want to sign Real Madrid target

Real Madrid and PSG have enjoyed a bit of a rivalry on and off the pitch in recent years. They had a classic Champions League tie last season. There was also the long-running Kylian Mbappe saga, which ended with him staying in the French capital. And the matter of the European Super League is well documented, an idea that led nowhere.

The two clubs are also believed to be in the running to sign Endrick from Palmeiras, but it does not look like he is the only player whose signature PSG and Real Madrid are competing for at the moment.

Jude Bellingham might very well be the most in-demand player in all of Europe right now. The likes of Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool have been heavily linked with him in recent times. And now, PSG have joined the race for the English midfielder as well.

As reported by Sky Sports, when asked whether PSG are exploring a deal for the 19-year-old, Nasser Al-Khelaifi said:

"“Everybody wants him, I’m not going to hide it.“He’s at his club, and (we have) respect, so if we want to talk to him we’ll talk to the club first.”"

It is not hard to understand why there is so much interest in Bellingham. At just 19 years of age, he is already one of the best midfielders in the world.

At Borussia Dortmund, he has established himself as one of the best players in the Bundesliga and delivered the goods time after time at the Champions League level. On the other hand, he is showing what he is capable of at the World Cup as well in an England shirt.

He is a starter for the Three Lions at just 19 years of age. Even that is rare. And on top of that, he might very well have been their best player of the tournament till now.

It is pretty clear that Bellingham is a special talent and all of the biggest clubs in Europe are after him. It could take a transfer fee as high as €150 million to sign him from Borussia Dortmund.
