Real Madrid have been linked with a number of players in recent times and are also believed to be on the verge of getting a deal for Endrick over the line. The Brazilian wonderkid would arrive in the Spanish capital in the summer of 2024 when he turns 18 years of age. On the other hand, they seem to have an eye on improving their midfield next summer itself.

Real Madrid have arguably the most complete midfield in Europe right now. But the long-term futures of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos are up in the air, while Dani Ceballos could be headed for the exit door as well. On the other hand, the club are being linked with midfielders like Jude Bellingham and Enzo Fernandez.

Thus, it is pretty clear that Real Madrid are looking for a young midfielder at the moment and someone like N’Golo Kante would not fit that profile, even though the Chelsea legend is expected to be available on a free transfer in the summer.

As reported by Defensa Central (via The Hard Tackle), Kante has been offered to Real Madrid on a free transfer but the European champions have turned down the opportunity to sign the Chelsea legend next year.

There is no doubt that Kante is one of the best midfielders of his generation and has won almost everything that there is to win, at both club and international level.

The last season-and-a-half has been rough for Kante though as he has struggled with one injury after another. And with his current deal with Chelsea running out at the end of this campaign, rumours have suggested that the Blues are ready to let him go.

Someone like Kante on a free transfer would have been a dream for every club on the planet a few years back, but considering his age and his injury record, it might be best for Real Madrid to not consider a move for the Frenchman.
