Real Madrid’s big focus right now appears to be on signing the best young talents in the game so that they are set for the next decade or so to come. They have already gotten a deal for Endrick over the line. The entire package to sign the 16-year-old Brazilian wonderkid, including add-ons and taxes, is believed to be around €72 million. Certainly a brave investment to make on someone who has only 7 appearances at the senior level to his name. He will not even join the club before summer 2024.
Real Madrid have shown an incredible eye for young talents in recent years though. Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, Federico Valverde, all arrived at the club as teenagers and have gone on to become bona fide stars.
And it is expected that Real Madrid will continue to eye and recruit the best youngsters in the game. That seems to be the club’s new transfer policy, having moved away from their Galactico style signings of the past.
As reported by MARCA, the next target of Real Madrid is another teenager, Jude Bellingham. The 19-year-old English midfielder has been in the club’s sights for several years.
Real Madrid have next target after getting deal done for Endrick
Bellingham is already one of the best midfielders in the game and has proven that with both Borussia Dortmund and the England national team.
Even at 19 years of age, he has already captained a club the size of Borussia Dortmund while he is already a regular starter and one of the star performers for the Three Lions.
It would not be a stretch to call Bellingham a generational talent and naturally, it will take a blockbuster transfer fee to sign him.
After the World Cup campaign that Bellingham had, it would be a surprise if Borussia Dortmund allow him to leave for anything lower than €120 million but with clubs like Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea also in the race, that figure could easily reach €150 million.
