Real Madrid have enjoyed great success in recent times when it comes to signing Brazilian wonderkids and developing them into first-team stars. The two finest examples are Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo, both of whom have developed into starters in Carlo Ancelotti’s team. On the other hand, the club have officially announced the deal for Endrick as well, who is still just 16 but the transfer package is believed to be worth around €72 million including add-ons and taxes.
Real Madrid might not be done signing Brazilian wonderkids just yet either, and seem to be eyeing a permanent deal for Vinicius Tobias, after he has impressed on loan at Castilla from Shakhtar Donetsk.
As reported by MARCA, even though the decision is not final yet, the chances of Real Madrid triggering the purchase clause of Tobias have increased. It is believed to be set at around €10 million.
At this moment, the favourite option is to get the agreement done with Shakhtar Donetsk and from there think about a loan deal for next season, so that Tobias can continue his development in the first division.
Real Madrid are considering signing the Brazilian defender after impressive spell at Castilla
Tobias would certainly fit the profile of player that Real Madrid appear to be looking for at the moment: young and with a lot of room for growth.
On top of that, he is a right-back as well, which might be great news in the long run for the club, if he is able to develop into a starter one day.
Right-back is a bit of an area of worry for the club at the moment with Dani Carvajal now 30 years of age and no longer in top form. His cover option in Lucas Vazquez is 31 while Alvaro Odriozola is expected to be on his way out soon.
