Jude Bellingham is arguably the most in-demand talent in all of Europe right now and Real Madrid are not the only club being linked with the English midfielder. He has been one of the best players in the Bundesliga for quite some time and shined for the Three Lions at the World Cup as well. Thus, it should come as no surprise that almost every big club is after his signature.

Out of them, the four most interested teams are believed to be Real Madrid, Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea. It goes without saying that that gives Borussia Dortmund the opportunity to ask for a massive transfer fee.

Rumours have suggested that it might take a figure in the region of €150 million to sign Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund and that Premier League clubs might be willing to meet that. It might not be the best move on the part of Real Madrid though, especially when you consider how many positions in the squad need reinforcements.

They need another striker, another natural right winger and arguably players in both full-back positions as well. Thus, shelling out a €150 million transfer fee to sign Bellingham might not be the wisest decision in terms of building the squad, even though the Englishman might be a generational talent.

Another player has emerged at the latest World Cup though, who has caught the eye of everyone. It is Enzo Fernandez, who won the competition with Argentina and was named the Young Player of the Tournament.

Fernandez has enjoyed quite the rise in recent times. It was just in the summer that he moved to Benfica from River Plate. He has already impressed with his performances for the Portuguese club though and taken to European football like a duck to water.

A lot of people did not even expect him to be in the Argentine squad for the World Cup and he started tournament as an option to bring off the bench. But his performances saw him nail down a spot in the starting XI, and he helped his national team end a 36 year-long wait.

Yes, Bellingham might be the better player overall but it might also take a transfer fee around €150 million to sign him. On the other hand, it does feel like a figure around €80 million might be enough to get a deal over the line for Fernandez. And there is not a €70 million worth of difference in quality between the two midfielders.
