The names of Chelsea and Real Madrid have been quite heavily interlinked with each other over the past few months, when it comes to the transfer market, as it looks like both clubs have pretty similar targets. They were involved in the race to sign Endrick from Palmeiras, which Los Blancos won. On the other hand, both are believed to be looking to sign Jude Bellingham and Josko Gvardiol as well.

There seems to be another player, who is being linked with both Real Madrid and Chelsea, with his future at Manchester United up in the air.

Alejandro Garnacho has made a blistering start to his career at the senior level for Manchester United, already making his presence felt for the Red Devils and proving to be the difference maker in certain games. Naturally, that has managed to catch the attention of clubs around Europe.

On the other hand, the contract situation of Garnacho is up in the air and it looks like there is a chance that he could be on his way out of Old Trafford soon, if he does not agree an extension with the Red Devils.

As reported by GOAL, according to Talk Chelsea journalist Si Phillips, Chelsea have reached out to Garnacho’s representatives to discuss a potential deal.

It goes without saying that Garnacho is one of the elite young talents in the game today and if any club can sign him, it would go down as a major coup on their part.

Chelsea seem to trying to recruit the best young talents around the world in order to build for the future. That looks to be their new strategy following a change in ownership. It remains to be seen how successful their attempts prove to be. The club’s recent results on the pitch have been terrible following the controversial decision to show Champions League-winning manager, Thomas Tuchel, the exit door and replacing him with Graham Potter.
