One of Real Madrid’s big transfer targets at the moment is believed to be Jude Bellingham. The English midfielder has already captained Borussia Dortmund, been one of the best players in the Bundesliga, performed at the Champions League-level consistently and was arguably the England national team’s best player at the World Cup this time around. He is just 19 years of age!

Thus, it is not hard to understand why Real Madrid might be interested in signing Bellingham, especially with the long-term futures of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric uncertain.

It will be extremely difficult to sign Bellingham though. Premier League giants like Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea are also believed to be after him while it might take a transfer fee of €150 million for the Englishman to part ways with Borussia Dortmund.

So, all things considered, Real Madrid should be keeping eyes on alternative targets as well. Enzo Fernandez has also been linked with the club. And as reported by ASManuel Locatelli of Juventus, is next in the line of alternatives.

Real Madrid linked with move for Juventus midfielder as an alternative to Bellingham

Locatelli came through the youth academy of AC Milan but was never really able to establish himself as a star there.

It is after he joined Sassuolo that he started to be recognised as one of the best midfielders in the Serie A and his star would skyrocket after he played a key part in Italy’s UEFA EURO 2020 triumph.

A move to Juventus would follow and he has performer consistently for the Italian giants, even though the club have been going through some struggles in recent times.

Someone like Locatelli would be a very solid addition to the Real Madrid squad, if Los Blancos are unable to sign the likes of Bellingham or Fernandez.
