Most Real Madrid fans did not want to see the club being linked with Kylian Mbappe ever again after how their transfer saga turned out earlier in the year. The Frenchman was expected to make a move to Santiago Bernabeu when his contract ran out with PSG but instead chose to extend his deal and remain in the French capital.
But it is safe to say that Mbappe’s performance at the World Cup has changed a lot of fans’ minds and once again, they seem to be keen for Real Madrid to make a move for the French superstar.
On the other hand, it looks like there is a possibility that Mbappe could be on his way out of PSG in the near future as well, despite having signed a new deal with PSG just some months ago.
Rooney appears to believe that PSG would be the right step for Mbappe as well, and he wants him to join either Manchester United or Real Madrid. As reported by AS, the English legend told centredevils:
"“PSG is not suitable for him. I think a club like United would be perfect for him. I should go there next, Manchester United or Real Madrid.”"

To be honest, a move to Manchester United for Mbappe seems very unlikely. The club have not won consistently for almost a decade now and if the Frenchman was to leave PSG, he would surely want to go to a club where he would be challenging for all titles every season.
On the other hand, a move to Real Madrid might be unlikely as well, as the relationship between Los Blancos and PSG is not believed to be the best at this point of time.
Let’s see how things turn out for Mbappe. If he did leave PSG, there would be no lack of options for him to go to, with him being the next global superstar of the game with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo nearing retirement.
