Jude Bellingham is arguably the most in demand talent in football right now and all of the biggest clubs on the planet are after the Englishman’s signature. It is not hard to understand why either. At just 19 years of age, it would not be a stretch to call him a world-class midfielder. How many teenagers have ever been able to play at that level?

Bellingham has already captained Borussia Dortmund, performed on a consistent basis in both Germany and at the Champions League level, and on top of everything else, he was the Three Lions’ shining light at the recent World Cup as well.

Naturally, he has been linked with a move back to England, with the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea believed to be interested in his signature. But it appears that Real Madrid are the ones who might be set to come out on top, as they often do.

As reported by GOAL, Bellingham is set to choose Real Madrid over Liverpool and has already told his entourage of his desire to move to the Spanish capital.

Real Madrid look set to defeat Liverpool in race to sign Bellingham

Winning the race for Bellingham would be a major boost for Real Madrid. Of course, nothing is over the line yet and there is a long way to go, but all signs seem to be pointing towards the Englishman heading to Santiago Bernabeu in the near future.

Bellingham is perhaps the midfielder with the highest ceiling in football right now and if Real Madrid are able to bring him in, it would secure one position in the middle of the park for the next decade-and-a-half to come.

It is expected to take a huge transfer fee to sign Bellingham though and the figure could go as high as €150 million. A move of that magnitude would be a major statement of intent.
