Most clubs in the modern game do not seem to have a long-term vision in the transfer market and seem to go with the flow of the trend. Not Real Madrid though. Los Blancos seem to have already chalked out their future moves for the next few years to come, as it is clear that the club clearly know the direction in which they want to move.

Of course, when you have the pulling power of Real Madrid, things become much simpler. But even then, the club deserve a lot of credit for the vision that they have shown and for remaining one of the best clubs in Europe throughout, despite not splashing out.

It has become pretty clear by now that their big target for the upcoming summer transfer window is Jude Bellingham of Borussia Dortmund. But it looks like they have targets picked out further down the line as well.

As reported by AS, Real Madrid are clear about their future structure and their target is Alphonso Davies in 2024.

Davies burst onto the scene at Bayern Munich as a teenager and ended up playing a key part in their Champions League triumph a few years back. At that point, he was already being considered as one of the best left-backs in the world.

Since then, his career has been through a few ups and downs, but now, Davies seems to be back on track once again.

His current contract with Bayern Munich is set to run out in the summer of 2025 and as a result, 2024 might be the perfect time for Real Madrid to make a move for the Canadian star.

There are serious question marks over the long-term future of Ferland Mendy at the club while they are being linked with the likes of Fran Garcia and Miguel Gutierrez.
