Real Madrid have been linked with some of the best rising talent in the game over the past few months as it looks like the club is interested in not only building the team to be competitive for now but for the future as well. As a result, they have already agreed a deal with Palmeiras to sign Endrick, who will arrive in the Spanish capital in the summer of 2024.
On the other hand, the likes of Jude Bellingham and Alphonso Davies are believed to be priority targets for Real Madrid in future transfer windows, while Josko Gvardiol is being heavily linked with a move to Santiago Bernabeu as well.
When it comes to rising talents in the game, very few have had as big of a breakthrough this season as Khvicha Kvaratskhelia of Napoli.
Kvaratskhelia arrived in Naples as bit of an unknown but has been nothing short of world-class for the Italian club, as they sit atop the Serie A table and the Georgian international has already earned himself the nickname ‘Kvaradona’ for his efforts in a Napoli shirt. Naturally, Real Madrid are one of the clubs rumoured with an interest in the youngster but there seems to be a fresh twist in the tale.
Real Madrid have reportedly dropped their interest in Kvaratskhelia
As reported by Defensa Central (via The Hard Tackle), Kvaratskhelia no longer features on the radar of Real Madrid and the club have decided to pull the plug on pursuing the 21-year-old Napoli superstar.
It would not be a stretch to say that Kvaratskhelia looks poised to be one of the best players of his generation, if he can continue performing like he has since joining Napoli.
The only problem is, he plays as a left winger, and Real Madrid already have Vinicius Jr there. Thus, it would not make a lot of sense to make a big money move for Kvaratskhelia, especially when there are other positions of need in this current squad.
