Cristiano Ronaldo has been presented as a player of Al Nassr. A move that would have seemed impossible just six months ago has transpired. And it does not look like the Saudi Pro League club have any desire to stop just yet. There have been suggestions that they want to establish themselves as the Real Madrid of Asia.

For that, the club seem to be eyeing some of the biggest names in the history of Real Madrid. The press has linked them with the likes of Sergio Ramos and Luka Modric as well.

On the other hand, following the signing of Ronaldo, it looks like Al Nassr hold an interest in Real Madrid’s all-time record signing, Eden Hazard. It is believed that the club had shelled out a transfer fee in the region of €115 million to sign him from Chelsea in the summer of 2019.

As reported by Foot Mercato, Al Nassr is also very interested in Hazard. Rudi Garcia knows the Belgian well from their time together at Lille, where the Real Madrid star had his big breakthrough.

Al Nassr are interested in Real Madrid star despite his terrible form

While it might have made a lot of sense back in 2019, in hindsight, the €115 million move has proven to be a mistake on the part of the club and Hazard is expected to depart Real Madrid in the summer, despite still having another year left on his contract at that point. Could Al Nassr be his next destination?

He is still one of the biggest names in all of football and as a result, signing someone with his star power makes sense for what Al Nassr are trying to achieve.

While Real Madrid cannot expect a big transfer fee out of Hazard’s exit, getting his wages off the books would be a positive step for the club.

And for Hazard, he can get one last big contract. Thus, a move appears to make sense for all parties involved.
