€150 million superstar has been told to join Real Madrid

Real Madrid have been linked with a number of highly rated youngsters in recent times but the name that stands out amongst them is that of Jude Bellingham. The English midfield maestro has been superb for both club and country in recent times, and it is hard to believe that he is still just 19 years of age.

Bellingham is already one of the best players in the Bundesliga, has proven himself at the Champions League level on a number of occasions and was arguably the England national team’s best player at the recent World Cup.

Unsurprisingly, Borussia Dortmund are expected to be looking for a big transfer fee in order to part ways with the Englishman. The figure could go as high as €150 million.

Real Madrid are in the running to sign Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund but they are not the only ones. Liverpool are expected to give them competition while the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea could try to swoop in as well, depending upon the situation.

As reported by the Mirror, Sol Campbell said at an event this week in Turkey:

"“Real Madrid is obviously one of the great historical teams and the way he playing, if he goes in the same direction, he would be perfect for Real Madrid because he is very young.“He’s way ahead in a lot of things, he just needs the right club and the right manager to guide him in the right direction, that’s all, and the right environment, because sometimes you can go to the wrong environment and so you waste your talent for a few years.”"

The former Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur star further added:

"“If he goes to Madrid, he will improve the team, but also the club can keep him in the future. It is a club that knows what to do with young players, to make sure they are going in the right direction and continue to perform.“And at Real Madrid, if you’re good, you stay a long time. They keep all the really good players and Bellingham is one of the best young players. You just need the right environment to keep your feet on the ground and keep learning.”"

Real Madrid have had a fantastic record in recent times when it comes to developing youngsters. The likes of Vinicius Jr, Federico Valverde and Rodrygo arrived in the Spanish capital as teenagers and have gone on to develop into superstars.

One could argue that Bellingham is already a superstar of the game and a club like Real Madrid can help him take things to the next level.

Some rumours have suggested that Real Madrid are the favourites to sign Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund next summer. Los Blancos might have to break their club transfer record in order to do so though.
