Real Madrid have had a rough time this season when it comes to injuries. There were several key players who struggled to remain fit in the first half of the campaign, and it looks like the issues have remained the same after the World Cup break as well. David Alaba and Aurelien Tchouameni had already been ruled out for around three weeks.

Naturally, both are missing the Spanish Super Cup. At the same time, there were question marks over the fitness of Ferland Mendy ahead of the semi-final against Valencia, and it lead to Nacho playing at left-back, although the Frenchman did make an appearance off the bench.

Real Madrid appeared to pick up some fresh worries in the match against Valencia as well, and thus, it remains to be seen how they will line up in the final against Barcelona or Real Betis.

Lucas Vazquez might possibly have picked up a serious issue while Eduardo Camavinga suffered a blow to the knee as well, which needs to evaluated but it does not seem like a major issue. As reported by AS, Carlo Ancelotti said:

"“Camavinga has had a blow to the knee, it bothered him. Lucas I think is an ankle sprain. And Militao’s is dizzy, he was fine. We have to evaluate Camavinga, and Lucas seems the most serious. Camavinga and Militao I don’t think they have problems.”"

Vazquez getting injured right now would come as a blow for Real Madrid. While not a starter, the youngster has been the back up option to Dani Carvajal at right-back for quite some time now.

One can only hope that it is not a serious issue and Vazquez is back on the pitch as soon as possible.

Of course, Camavinga is another player who might not be a starter but has carved out an important role for himself in the Real Madrid team. There seem to be far less fears about his knock against Valencia, and the expectation seems to be that he is fine.
