€30 million Real Madrid target will push to join Barcelona

Real Madrid have built up an impressive reputation in recent years of signing the best young talents from Brazil and turning them into first-team superstars at the Santiago Bernabeu. The two best examples are Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo, both of whom were signed as teenagers and have gone on to become big parts of the senior team.

Real Madrid recently pulled off a major coup as well by agreeing a deal to sign Endrick from Palmeiras. The total package is believed to be worth around €72 million when including add-ons and taxes. The Brazilian youngster will only arrive in the summer of 2024.

Of course, there are several other top talents emerging through the ranks in Brazilian football and another one who has caught the eye is Vitor Roque of Athletico Paranaense. He is just 17 years of age and has been immensely impressive at the senior level already.

Real Madrid have been linked with a move for Roque, as have been several other clubs around Europe. But it looks like Barcelona might be the ones leading the race to sign the Brazilian wonderkid.

As reported by SPORT, Roque will push whatever it takes to end up playing at Barcelona. He is rated at a transfer fee around €30 million. The Catalan giants believe that he is a much more complete striker with greater potential than Endrick.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Roque, but for the time being, it looks like Barcelona might be his most likely destination.

Of course, Real Madrid could do with some more options up top in the near future, with Karim Benzema not having any real back up at this point of time and Mariano Diaz expected to leave at the end of the campaign when his current deal runs out.
