Declan Rice has made Real Madrid transfer decision
Real Madrid have been linked with some of the most highly-rated young talents in all of football in recent years. The upcoming summer transfer window promises to be a big one for Los Blancos. Their top target is believed to be Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham and it is not really hard to understand why. But it appears that the club have an eye on his England national team midfield partner, Declan Rice, as well.
Rice is currently the captain of West Ham United and he played a huge role in the Hammers’ successes in the last few seasons, as they delivered beyond expectations.
Admittedly, this season is not going nearly as well for West Ham United or Rice, as the Hammers find themselves hovering just above the relegation zone. But if or when the midfielder does leave, there is not going to be any lack of interest in his signature. There is some bad news for Real Madrid, and several other clubs, in the race to sign him though.
As reported by El Nacional, Rice is one of the players Real Madrid had in their sights to bolster the squad ahead of next season. But there seems to be no chance that he will join Carlo Ancelotti’s side. The West Ham United captain has already decided where his next challenge will be and he has given Arsenal his word.
Rice has made Real Madrid transfer decision
Thus, it looks like Real Madrid are set to miss out on Rice. Joining a club like Arsenal would allow him to stay in London.
Arsenal are the Premier League leaders this season as well, as it looks like Mikel Arteta has built a very formidable team.
Of course, Rice has also been linked with clubs like Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool in the recent past.
