Real Madrid’s transfer policy in recent times has been quite clear. The club want to sign some of the biggest young talents in all of football to make sure that their team is set up for the next decade or so to come. It is because of this reason that they have already agreed a deal for Endrick of Palmeiras, and are being linked with rising superstars like Jude Bellingham, Josko Gvardiol and several others.
One area of the pitch where they need to bring in reinforcements soon is striker. Karim Benzema is 35 years of age and has dealt with a number of injury problems this season already. On the other hand, Mariano Diaz is expected to leave at the end of the campaign when his contract runs out. Endrick will not arrive before the summer of 2024.
And it looks like Los Blancos have their eyes on one of Germany’s most promising young forwards. As reported by Defensa Central (via The Hard Tackle), Karim Adeyemi is the subject of interest from Real Madrid.
It was only last summer that Adeyemi joined Borussia Dortmund from RB Salzburg, for a transfer fee believed to be around €38 million.
Real Madrid linked with promising German striker
There is no doubt about Adeyemi’s potential. He was absolutely brilliant during his time at RB Salzburg. And considering he just recently turned 21 years of age, he has plenty of room and time to get better.
Adeyemi has seemed to struggle since joining Borussia Dortmund though and scored just three goals till now. But one of the reasons behind that might be the fact that he has had to play on the wing this season, rather than up front where he enjoyed his success at RB Salzburg.
Overall, it is very clear that Adeyemi is a superb talent, who is going through a bit of a rough patch since joining Borussia Dortmund. It would come as a surprise if Real Madrid made a move for him. Yet, he does tick a lot of boxes that the club seem to be looking for at this point of time.
