That figure could potentially be even higher when you consider the fact that his current deal runs until the summer of 2027. Coman has won a lot during the course of his career, but it just feels like he has never taken that next step. He is a perfectly good winger, but not in that world-class bracket.
The highest number of goals that he has ever scored in a Bundesliga season is 6. The highest number of assists that he has provided in a single league campaign is a much more impressive 12, but that seems to be a bit of an anomaly. That came back in the 2020/21 campaign and his second highest in terms of assists is 6.
Of course, stats are not the be-all and end-all when judging a player, but then, considering the transfer fee it is expected to take to sign Coman, Real Madrid would expect an immediate impact. The Frenchman is also 26 years of age, meaning that he is in his prime or very close to entering it, and there is not a huge room for improvement unless something unexpected happens.
