Real Madrid considering offer for Chelsea and Arsenal target

Real Madrid have built up quite the reputation for signing the best young talents from Brazil and developing them into first-team stars at Santiago Bernabeu. We have seen that happen with both Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo. Both were brought in as teenagers and have gone on to become key players for Los Blancos. They scored in the recent Club World Cup semi final against Al Ahly.

On the other hand, the club also have Vinicius Tobias in their developmental ranks right now, on loan from Shakhtar Donetsk. And they also agreed a historic deal with Palmeiras to sign Endrick, who is just 16 years of age but the transfer package could rise up to €72 million including add-ons and taxes.

Now, it looks like Real Madrid have another Brazilian talent in their sights, who is considered one of the best defenders of his generation, and was linked with both Chelsea and Arsenal not too long ago.

As reported by GOAL, Real Madrid are considering an offer for Robert Renan. Los Blancos have not made any kind of proposal yet but have shown interest in signing him in the near future.

Renan came up through the ranks at Corinthians and it was just last month that he completed a move to Zenit.

The 19-year-old Brazilian centre-back has been one of the standout performers at the South American U-20 Championship though and it looks like that has managed to catch the eye of Real Madrid, who are always on the lookout for the next big thing in football.

It remains to be seen if Real Madrid end up making a move for Renan any time in the future or not, but it is certainly a situation worth keeping an eye on.

Los Blancos’ defence could do with the addition of some youth for sure. Nacho Fernandez is 33 years of age, David Alaba is 30 and Antonio Rudiger will turn the same next month.
