Real Madrid hold talks with Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp

Real Madrid might find themselves in need of a manager soon. The future of Carlo Ancelotti is pretty much up in the air right now. The Italian might have guided Los Blancos to a Champions League and La Liga double just last season. But things move quickly at Santiago Bernabeu. The team are struggling right now and if they finish the campaign without winning any of the three major trophies, there is a good chance that there could be a change in the managerial hot seat.

Names like Mauricio Pochettino, Thomas Tuchel and Raul have been floated about, when it comes to a potential future manager for Real Madrid. Another top name could be available very soon though.

It is none other than Jurgen Klopp. Liverpool are going through a poor season this time around and it does feel like they might be coming to the end of their cycle under the German manager. He has been at Anfield since 2015 and achieved everything possible with the Reds.

As reported by El Nacional (via GOAL), Real Madrid have gotten in touch with Klopp to talk about the German potentially taking over the reigns at Santiago Bernabeu.

Klopp could be a spectacular manager for Real Madrid. The job that he has done at Anfield deserves a lot of credit.

There is an argument to be made that Klopp is the best manager in the world. Especially when you consider that Liverpool have not traditionally made huge signings during the time of the German manager, even though there are a few exceptions.

It remains to be seen if Real Madrid end up making a move for Klopp in the future or not. But before that, one would hope that Ancelotti is able to turn this season around.
