Real Madrid have been linked with several high profile names in recent times as it is expected to be a busy summer transfer window for them. It is quite clear that Los Blancos need to strengthen in several positions across the pitch, if they are to be competitive throughout the course of a campaign. This time around, we have seen injuries and fatigue catch up to them on multiple occasions.

One of the areas where Real Madrid look set to undergo significant change over the coming years is their midfield. Luka Modric is 37 years of age and there are some question marks whether he will remain at Santiago Bernabeu beyond this season. On the other hand, there have been rumours that Toni Kroos could decide to retire at the end of the campaign.

Those two have been pillars in the middle of the park for Real Madrid for almost a decade. And whether they continue or leave after this season, it feels like both are in the twilight of their respective careers.

On the other hand, Jude Bellingham is believed to be Real Madrid’s number one target for next summer. It will not be easy to get a deal for him over the line though.

Real Madrid hold fresh talks with €130 million star’s representatives

As reported by Defensa Central (via The Hard Tackle), Real Madrid met the representatives of Bellingham on Wednesday. He is also wanted by several Premier League giants though.

Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea are all believed to be in the running for the signature of Bellingham. Thus, Los Blancos have a task on their hands, bringing him to the Spanish capital.

On top of that, it will take a huge transfer fee to convince Borussia Dortmund to part ways with their star man. Some rumours have suggested that Real Madrid are ready to pay a transfer package close to €130 million.
