Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain both want Brazilian star

Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have had a bit of a rivalry going on in recent years. Of course, there was the Kylian Mbappe transfer saga. And while he might have stayed on in the French capital, the story might not be over yet. The two teams also found themselves on the opposite ends of the European Super League debate as well.

And of course, they have come up against each other on the pitch as well. Most recently, in last season’s Champions League Round of 16 tie, where Real Madrid were successful in knocking PSG out.

Now, it looks like the two teams could be set to compete for the signature of a forward. It is none other than Brazilian international and Tottenham Hotspur star, Richarlison.

Rumours coming out of Spain have suggested that the Brazilian forward is on the wishlist of PSG. On the other hand, as reported by ESPN, Real Madrid are tracking Richarlison as an option to strengthen their attack.

Richarlison joined Tottenham Hotspur in the recent transfer window for a transfer package believed to be around £60 million. The Brazilian forward has not done as well as was expected though.

According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 2 goals and provided 3 assists in 20 appearances for Tottenham Hotspur till now.

Surely the club would have been hoping for a much better output from their star signing of the summer. At the same time though, his poor run of form does not seem to have had any effect when it comes to interest in his signature. On the contrary, even bigger clubs seem to be keeping an eye on his performances.
