Cristiano Ronaldo shocked the footballing world by completing a move to Al-Nassr, after his second stint at Manchester United came to an abrupt end. Most people would have expected the Portuguese icon to carry on in Europe, but if rumours are to be believed, there were not a lot of top clubs looking to sign him. And to be honest, his career has been on a downward trajectory since leaving Real Madrid.

His spell at Juventus might have been decent, but ultimately, they were not able to achieve their big goal, which was to win the Champions League. On the other hand, their dominance in Italian football came to an end during Ronaldo’s time in Turin.

Then Ronaldo made a blockbuster return to Manchester United. Again, his goalscoring numbers were solid. But the team did not improve. He lost his place in the starting XI following the arrival of Erik ten Hag as manager. And after the release of his controversial interview with Piers Morgan, the second stint at Old Trafford came to the worst possible end.

Ronaldo remains one of the biggest names in football though and has been handed a huge contract by Al-Nassr as a result. And now, it looks like the club want to reunite him with one of his former Real Madrid teammates.

As reported by MARCA, Al Nassr have already contacted the environment of Sergio Ramos to let them know of their interest in seeing the Spaniard with Ronaldo.

The duo enjoyed a lot of success during their time together at Real Madrid. While Ronaldo is now at Al-Nassr, Ramos finds himself at PSG.

Ramos has been successful in establishing himself as a starter for PSG, but his current deal with the club runs out in the summer. And it will be interesting to see if he ends up at Al-Nassr.
