Real Madrid are interested in Bayern Munich forward

Real Madrid need to strengthen all over the pitch and the forward areas are certainly amongst them. We have seen Karim Benzema struggle with fitness throughout the campaign and his form has not been as great as last season’s either. On the other hand, Vinicius Junior has had an up and down campaign, and just when it had looked like he was back to his best, he has produced three straight underwhelming displays.

Fede Valverde has been used as a right winger, although he is a natural midfielder. Rodrygo is yet to establish himself as a nailed on starter, despite some bright performances from time to time. Marco Asensio is not the most reliable option and his contract is running out in the summer. And beyond that, the club do not have many regular contributors in the three forward positions.

Thus, they could definitely do with some additions up top. And a player from Bayern Munich seems to have caught their eye.

As reported by Fichajes (via The Hard Tackle), Serge Gnabry is the subject of interest from Real Madrid.

Gnabry has been one of Bayern Munich’s biggest contributors in recent years. And it was just last summer that he signed a long-term deal with the Bundesliga giants.

In recent weeks, his prominence in the team has decreased though. And unsurprisingly, his form has suffered as well.

If things continue on this path, it would not be a surprise if Gnabry looks for a change in scenery. At 27 years of age, he is in the middle of his prime, and will want to be a regular starter wherever he is.

Someone with his experience and productivity could be a solid addition for Real Madrid. Will the club make a move for him in the summer? Time shall tell.
