Real Madrid are expected to have a big summer transfer window as it is clear that their squad needs multiple additions. As a result, they have been linked with a number of top names in world football right now. And the club’s number one priority is rumoured to be Jude Bellingham of Borussia Dortmund.
Bellingham is amongst the elite midfielders on the planet at just 19 years of age. He has arguably been the best player in the Bundesliga in the ongoing campaign till now. He was also one of the standout performers for the England national team at the recent World Cup.
It is believed that he could be on the move in the summer. Other than Real Madrid, the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and PSG have also been linked with Bellingham. On the other hand, Borussia Dortmund want to hand him a bumper new contract extension.

As reported by Foot Mercato (via Mundo Deportivo), Juni Calafat has held a meeting with the father and representative of the English international, Mark Bellingham. It has taken place at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel in London. The reason for it was to show to the player’s family the project that Real Madrid has devised for him.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for Bellingham. Even if Real Madrid are able to convince him, they still have to agree a deal with Borussia Dortmund.
And several rumours have suggested that it will take a transfer fee around the €150 million mark to convince Borussia Dortmund to part ways with Bellingham. Thus, Real Madrid have a mountain to climb to get a deal over the line.
