Real Madrid have seen a number of their key players leave for Manchester United in recent times. Raphael Varane joined the Red Devils in 2021. Casemiro made the move to Old Trafford last summer. And both of them have played important parts, as the club have enjoyed a resurgence under the management of Erik ten Hag this season.
Unsurprisingly, it appears that Manchester United have their eyes on more Real Madrid players. And after adding the experience of Varane and Casemiro, they might be after the youth and energy of Eduardo Camavinga.
The Frenchman has been a standout performer for Los Blancos after the World Cup. He has established himself as a starting XI and has shown the ability to perform at a high level at both left-back and in the middle of the park. There is some bad news for Manchester United in their chase to sign the Frenchman though.
As reported by Football Insider, Real Madrid see Camavinga as a crucial part of their long-term plans. He is not available for transfer this summer.
Manchester United handed £100 million transfer blow by Real Madrid
Real Madrid should definitely not considering letting go of Camavinga at this point of time. He is only starting to make his presence felt in the starting XI.
It is easy to forget, but Camavinga had a forgettable first half to the campaign. There were even some suggestions for him to be sent out on loan in order to gain some experience at the top level before returning to Real Madrid.
He has turned things around completely after the World Cup though and looks like a different player altogether. He is very important to Los Blancos already. On top of that, he is still just 20 years of age and has plenty of room to develop further.
