Real Madrid have been linked with a long list of players in recent times, as it looks like they could significantly strengthen their squad in the summer. Jude Bellingham of Borussia Dortmund is rumoured to be their top priority of the upcoming transfer window. But it will not be easy to get a deal done for the Englishman. Thus, Los Blancos must have alternative targets as well.
There have been suggestions that if Real Madrid cannot get a deal done for Bellingham, then their plan B would be Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The winger is enjoying a tremendous campaign at Napoli.
Not too long ago, he was pretty much an unknown to most fans. But since joining Napoli in the summer, Kvaratskhelia has been absolutely stunning and it is not hard to understand why Real Madrid might be keeping an eye on his situation.
Carlo Ancelotti certainly seems to have been impressed with what he has seen from Kvaratskhelia this season. As reported by Sky Sport, the Real Madrid manager said:
"“Kvaratskhelia is a great player. He is doing very well. Pairing with Osimhen is very effective.”"

Kvaratskhelia has been in superb form since joining Napoli in the summer. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 13 goals and provided 15 assists in 28 appearances for the Italian club this season.
Those are brilliant numbers for a winger. And Kvaratskhelia might be the best player in Serie A right now. Thus, if Real Madrid want to sign him, they would have to shell out a significant transfer fee. He is believed to be rated at a transfer fee north of €100 million by Napoli and understandably so.
It has emerged in recent times that Kvaratskhelia is a childhood Real Madrid fan. And his footballing idol growing up was club legend Guti. Could a move to Santiago Bernabeu lie in his future? Only time shall tell.
