Real Madrid are readying €140 million transfer offer

Real Madrid have been quiet in recent times when it comes to making big signings. That could change soon though as it is believed that they are preparing for a big summer transfer window and have been linked with some of the biggest names in the game. Now, it remains to be seen if Los Blancos are able to get some deals over the line or not.

One of the players that Real Madrid have been most heavily linked with is Jude Bellingham. At 19 year of age, the Englishman has established himself as one of the best midfielders in the game.

As a result, it should come as no surprise that some of the biggest clubs in Europe are believed to be keeping close tabs on Bellingham’s situation. Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United and PSG are also being rumoured with an interest in the player. But it looks like Real Madrid might be ready to make a push.

As reported by Sport1 (via SPORT), Real Madrid has recently sent emissaries to speak directly with the player and his entourage and to start negotiating with Borussia Dortmund. The offer for the player could reach €140 million, €100 million fixed and €40 million in variables, although no decision has been made yet.

It remains to be seen if Real Madrid end up submitting a blockbuster offer for Bellingham or not. There is not expected to be any lack of interest in the player’s signature even if they do not though.

On the other hand, there have even been some suggestions that Borussia Dortmund are aiming to keep him at the club and want to hand him a new deal. Let’s see what happens.

The general feeling is that Bellingham will leave Borussia Dortmund in the summer. But at the same time, never say never in football.
