Real Madrid have been linked with a long list of players in recent times. The one who is believed to top it though is Jude Bellingham. The Englishman is rumoured to be the club’s top priority for the upcoming summer transfer window. Of course, with the talent and potential of the 19-year-old, Los Blancos are not the only ones keeping an eye on him.

The likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and PSG are also believed to be interested in signing Bellingham. Thus, Real Madrid have alternative targets in mind.

And it looks like a player from Manchester City is in their sights. As reported by ESPN, Real Madrid are monitoring Bernardo Silva’s situation if they miss out on Bellingham.

Silva was heavily linked with a move away from Manchester City last summer. And his long-term future at the club remains in question. Some rumours have suggested that the 28-year-old prefers a move to Spain.

Not too long ago, Silva was considered as one of the most important players at Manchester City and one of the best in the Premier League. It does feel like he does not quite hold that status anymore.

His current deal with Manchester City is believed to run out in the summer of 2025. Thus, next summer might be a decent time for the club to part ways with him, especially if they are able to get a deal done for Bellingham.

On the other hand, while Silva would not be a long-term signing like Bellingham, the Portuguese international is certainly someone who could make an immediate impact on this Real Madrid team, that is in need of refreshing. Let’s see if Los Blancos end up making a move for the Manchester City player.
