Real Madrid need to make additions to their ranks going forward. Karim Benzema might have been brilliant last season, but we have seen him struggle with both injuries and fitness this time around. On the other hand, the club have no real options as cover for the Frenchman. Mariano Diaz is expected to leave in the summer and has barely featured. On the other hand, Alvaro is not ready to be relied upon week after week.

Thus, Real Madrid are extremely light on options up front and could do with some additions in that area of the pitch. And it looks like a player from Arsenal has caught their eye.

As reported by Defensa Central (via The Hard Tackle), Real Madrid are keeping tabs on Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus. He is believed to have a €75 million transfer market value.

Real Madrid were linked with a move for Jesus in the summer as well. But rumours suggested that they did not end up making an attempt to sign him due a lack of non-EU spots back then. The club no longer have that problem now.

It was only in the summer that Jesus left Manchester City in order to join Arsenal. And he has impressed immensely in the appearances that he has made in Mikel Arteta’s side since then.

Of course, they have been limited, simply because of the fact that he suffered a serious injury that kept him out of action for months. Jesus is coming back to fitness though and has been making some appearances lately.

As a result, one would hope that it is not long before he is back on top form and delivering once again. It remains to be seen if Real Madrid end up making a move in the summer or not.
