Real Madrid have built up quite the reputation for signing the brightest young talents in the game in recent years. The club have pretty much moved away from their Galactico policy and focused on bringing in players, who can be a key part of the team for the next decade or so to come. And it looks like they have the ‘Turkish Messi’ in their sights next.
It was just last month that Arda Guler turned 18 years of age. He currently plays for Turkish giants, Fenerbahce, and has made quite a few appearances for the club.
It is not just Real Madrid who seem to have their eyes on Guler though. It appears that Barcelona are interested in the signature of the youngster as well.
As reported by Defensa Central (via The Hard Tackle), Guler is the subject of interest from Real Madrid. Los Blancos are considering signing him in the summer. But the “Turkish Messi” is also a target for Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

Of course, Messi is one of the greatest in the history of football and several players have been linked with him over the years. Nobody has been successful in matching the expectations though. It remains to be seen if Guler turns out to be different.
Guler has certainly impressed with his performances for Fenerbahce till now. The level of the clubs being linked with him is proof of that.
It remains to be seen if Real Madrid end up making a move for Guler in the summer or not. Considering the amount of interest in his signature, Fenerbahce will certainly look for a significant transfer fee in order to part ways with the 18-year-old. Barcelona and Atletico Madrid also seem to be in the race to sign him.
