Real Madrid legend gets offer to join Cristiano Ronaldo’s rivals

Cristiano Ronaldo shocked the footballing world by joining Al-Nassr. Even six months back, it was a move that not many people would have seen coming. But after his Manchester United exit, and a rumoured lack of interest from other top European teams, the Portuguese legend ended up making the move. Could another Real Madrid legend end up joining him in the Saudi Pro League soon?

Sergio Ramos’ contract with Paris Saint-Germain is set to run out at the end of this season. And he is yet to sign an extension with the French giants.

It was in the summer of 2021 that he left Real Madrid and joined PSG. What the future hold for the 37-year-old Spaniard next though?

As reported by L’Equipe (via Mundo Deportivo), Al-Hilal want to convince Ramos with an astronomical €30 million per season offer.

Interestingly, Al-Hilal are the biggest rivals of Al-Nassr. Thus, if Ramos does make the move, then he could find himself in Derby matches against Ronaldo.

Ramos is without a doubt one of the, if not the, best defenders of his generation. He captained Real Madrid for many years and was an important part of the best Spanish national team of all-time. Thus, he is one of the biggest names in the game too. Thus, it is not hard to understand why Al-Hilal might be interested in signing him, especially after Al-Nassr got a deal done for Ronaldo.

Ramos is still playing regularly for a top club like PSG though. Thus, it will be interesting to see if he wants to leave top level European football in order to join Al-Hilal or not.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for the Real Madrid legend. But we can only wish him the best moving forward.
