Real Madrid need to strengthen their squad in the summer. It has become very clear over the course of this campaign that they do not have the required depth to compete for all three major trophies or keep up their form consistently. Thus, fans will be hoping that the club make multiple additions in upcoming transfer window.

But on the other hand, Real Madrid have not splashed out in recent years. So, it might be important for them to make shrewd signings.

One of the best options around is Paulo Dybala. The Argentine World Cup winner has been in top form ever since joining AS Roma in the summer. He does have a surprising release clause in his deal though.

As reported by Don Diario (via Forza Roma), the €12 million release clause in Dybala’s contract is tempting to many big names in European football including Real Madrid.

Of course, Dybala has been linked with a number of clubs on the back of his impressive form since joining AS Roma as a free agent last summer. One of the clubs also believed to be interested in him is Tottenham Hotspur, although following the departure of Antonio Conte recently, it will be interesting to see where they stand regarding their targets.

It is not hard to see why clubs might be interested in the Argentine. According to stats from Transfermarkt, Dybala has scored 13 goals and provided 8 assists in 29 appearances for AS Roma this season across all competitions.

Someone like Dybala could actually be a solid addition for Real Madrid. He has all the talent in the world and at 29 years of age, he is very much in the middle of his prime as a footballer. He has the experience of playing at the very top level as well. And with his release clause believed to be set at around €12 million, this could be a no brainer.
